This position creates an opportunity to manage the relationship with one or more of GSI's partners in providing multi-channel e-commerce solutions for its brand.The goal of Business Management at GSI Commerce is to: 1) manage overall partner relationships; 2) grow e-commerce businesses aggressively and profitably; 3) support e-commerce site operations.The E-Commerce Manager adds value to GSI and its partners by: Account Relationship Management - Successfully manage all aspects of partner relationships including managing and setting expectations, communicating status, building and developing key relationships at a partner.-P&L owner - Manage P&L for e-commerce business. Exceed sales plan. Grow business profitably for both GSI and our partner. Manage the key drivers of contribution dollars.-Grow E-commerce Business - Work with partners to make decisions to profitably and aggressively grow the business. Up sell new capabilities, features, and functions to partner.-Own the Contract - Be the steward for the contract which defines the relationship between gsi and the partner. Look for ways to maximize our delivery of services to the partner and create a partner who is an evangelist for gsi.-Client Relations. Establish strong relationships with the partner's e-commerce team; becoming an extension of their business. Required Qualifications:The successful E-Commerce Manager will have the following attributes: -10-12 years of professional business experience preferably in a professional services environment. Financial aptitude; P&L management experience. A high degree of comfort working with a technology product. -Deep retail experience, knowledge, and expertise.E-commerce and/or professional services firm experience. Strong account management discipline, processes and structure/staffing to enable and encourage continued growth.-Ability to work closely with clients and peers to continually understand and anticipate their needs.
